Sat MAY 15th through to Sat MAY 22nd 2010 9am - 4pm THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS OF Second-hand BOOKS for sale. Each year during mid May, the museum hosts a huge Book Bonanza over 1 to 2 weeks. Second-hand books are donated to the museum through-out the year and these are cataloged and marked for the following event. An estimated 5 to 6 ton of books are made available for sale, prices averaging between $2 & $3 with only very few exceptions priced over $5.

Categories include: Military, Novels & Romance, Science & Technology, Children, History, Australiana, Sport and many, many others.

This event has been run for over 15 years and has a large following of patrons returning each year to find a bargain as well as the occasional treasure.

Monies raised go towards the costs of maintaining and the upkeep of the museum.

Through the year several raffles are run, some simultaneous.

$100 note runs continuously @ $2 ticket.

Rotary Raffle with a prize value of approximately $????? In prizes @ $5 ticket - all monies raised returns to the museum.

Xmas Raffle usually to the value of $1500 @ $2 ticket drawn mid December.

The museums spacious foyer is host to several art exhibitions - most on display for 1 to 2 months at a time.

Some use the facility to hold wine and cheese nights for their opening.
